Jack won the award for best actor at Cannes and BAFTA in this gripping thriller about an accident at a nuclear power plant, which is surreptitiously filmed by a cameraman (Michael Douglas, who also produced the film) and also stars Jane Fonda as the journalist who uncovers the story. James Bridges directs, and co-wrote the screenplay.
