Directed by Billy Wilder, and filmed on location in Italy, it’s often considered a lesser-known gem. The wonderful Juliet Mills co-stars with Jack. It tells the story of a man who travels to Italy to claim the body of his tycoon father, and discovers he died with his long-time mistress.

Lemmon won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. The film was nominated for five Golden Globe Awards, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Director, Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical, and Best Screenplay.
